Scandal, the ABC TV show is promoting a cross over with the Murder show where the characters will meet up.
If you watch these shows, Olivia and Annaliese in one room… ooh it’s going down!
Oh, how I’d love to do that with men and women.
But not like a dating round robin. As the show writer, I’d give all of you truth serum first and then put you in a room together.
What the women would hear from the men: “No, no, no. She’s hot, but I’m terrified of her. Not gonna approach her. Just forget it.”
The men would hear from the ladies, “He’s so hotttt. I wish he’d come over here and talk to me.”
Sensing a stand-off of unrequited interest, what typically happens in the real world is a form of rock, paper, scissors.
Or chicken.
Who will make the first move? It usually dissolves into all the wrong moves.
The woman goes up to the guy and basically tells him to ask her out. (bad idea)
She thinks she’s being the boss. He thinks she’s the boss-ho.
They may hook up (bad idea). It won’t go anywhere after this.
In the moment, both the man with his fea-her and the woman with her dee-sire are going to crash into seXXX. And in this case, sexxx ain’t nothin’ but a band-aid.
They finish the deed, he rips the band-aid off. She feels scandalized.
Oh, if they’d had a writer to create a spiritually driven scene…what a wholly different outcome.
But would you want to see it if the show wasn’t looking worse than your real-life pain?
Just in case you would want a better outcome…
